Of Linked Lists and Byzantine

This blog is not meant for those who are fluent in programming languages.. This blog is not meant for me to publish daily events.. In fact, this blog is not meant for specifically anyone.

What this blog is meant for is to trace my journey from Data Structures to the VIIIth sem. along with some HTML, PHP and jQuery on the way.. And yes, photographs. No blog of mine is complete without photographs.

Today, I finally got a chance to be introduced to Linked Lists.. I'm a little confused.. but also confident that I'll be able to clear this confusion soon.. I don't know how to put this to people who are not in the loop but Linked Lists are kind of a big deal.. Finally, we're not swapping the digits of a number or counting the number of words in a sentence.. We're way past them now. Linked Lists form an integral part of every operating system..

Plus, I bought a book. Not just any book. I bought 'From the Holy Mountain: A Journey in the Shadow of Byzantium'..And it is beautiful.. Its an epic work.. I thought that Dalrymple could do no better than what he did in 'In Xanadu' but this book proves me wrong.. Dalrymple's probably the only writer in the world who can make travelogues much more interesting than most books of fiction.. A highly recommended reading..



And so, with Linked Lists and Byzantine, begins Computer Science Engineering..
